The VESDA VLF-500 (VLF-500-00) LaserFOCUS is a very early warning aspirating smoke detector for small, business-critical spaces up to 500 m2 (5,380 sq. ft.), such as server rooms and control rooms. It draws air through a sampling pipe network and uses laser light scattering to detect very small amounts of smoke.
