The Simplex GSA4098-9714 is a TrueAlarm addressable photoelectric smoke sensor head. The head measures smoke obscuration and the panel makes the alarm decision, stores peak values and compensates for drift, so sensitivity is changed in programming rather than by swapping hardware.
