The Simplex 565-079 is the 8 A power supply board that powers the 100 W audio amplifier in legacy Simplex 4100 voice systems. The same board is built as the 565-028 8 A expansion supply; a jumper sets which configuration it runs.
- 8 A supply for the 4100 100 W amplifier
- 24 VDC output through a replaceable 12 A output fuse (F4)
- Replaceable 15 A input fuse (F3)
- Trouble LED for low or disconnected batteries, loss of rectified DC or a blown fuse
- Jumper J10 selects the 565-079 configuration (J9 for 565-028)
