The Potter RBVS supervises the fully open or closed position of a ball valve in a sprinkler system. It can also supervise the position of a solenoid coil on a preaction or deluge system.
- Fits most lever/tee type ball valves up to 2 in.
- Fits ball valves on most backflow preventers up to 2 in. and on alarm trim lines of dry, alarm and deluge valves
- Works on normally open or normally closed valves
- Spring-loaded actuator changes the contacts when the handle leaves its normal position
- Hardware included to supervise coils on most solenoids
- Terminals accept up to 12 AWG wire
- Optional field-installed cover tamper switch kit (0090224)
The switch signals movement away from the normal position; it does not track the handle or ball position.
