The Det-Tronics 009700-001 is a magnetic hand tool that operates the sealed magnetic switches on Det-Tronics flame and gas detection equipment from outside the enclosure. Explosion-proof instruments cannot be opened in a classified area, so the switches sit behind the glass and are driven by this magnet.
