NPT conduit entry, for 116 Class explosion-proof fire alarm strobes. JEM Systems Canada offers it with shipping across Canada.

116EX belongs to the 116 Class hazardous-location strobe family, so this is not a sheet-metal back box: it is a structural part of the explosion-proof assembly. The 116 main housing ships without a mounting module and the installer picks one. 116EX-C is fixed to the surface with hardware chosen for it, the field earth ground lands on its ground screw, and the main housing is set on it and locked with a setscrew. The wall bracket does not replace it — the 116EX-B elbow fits the main housing, and that assembly still mounts on a 116EX-C.

Ceiling mount module, 3/4 in.
